Over 1000 homeless and abandoned animals each year find a new home through our shelter- could you help us?

We want to use this platform to share all the shelters needs and also if animals need to be rehomed.  Rehome doesn’t always mean you rescue a dog or cat, but sometimes in return, you rescue yourself. We also want to help shelters with donations for vet bills and food. It’s really hard to see the ‘voiceless’ suffer at the hands of those that should be loving them. Rather be the voice to those that are voiceless.

Most shelters really struggle with vet bills and food, the reason for this is because, in our day where a pandemic has hit us so hard, we rely on shelters to help us with low-cost animal care. The most shelter has an outreach program where they assist people with dog food, free of charge. This is why the shelter is always in need of food because they feed people whose animals need help and they need to feed the shelter where they have the strays. Rescue is so much more than just vet bills and food, its times and dedication and educating the uneducated. I’m sure that when these shelters rescue and rehabilitate the rescued or dumped animal and they find a lovely home, it secretly breaks their hearts one way or another. But they do it because that’s what they do even if it cost their lives. So each small donation whether it be a small money donation or a bag of dog food, each and everyone at the shelter is always very grateful.
